Character classes
As thou beginst thy life in the vast land of Astonia, thou canst choose to be either a Warrior or a Mage.
Choose to become a Warrior, and thou shalt be a fierce fighter and a master of the sword and other weapons. Choose to be a Mage, and thou shalt be a master of magic and spellbinding.
A mage is very difficult to play, especially in the beginning, but it offers many options and a variety of gameplay that a warrior can never reach.

Female Mage
A master of magic and spellbinding.
The Seyan’Du
A Seyan’Du combines the powers of a Mage with those of a Warrior. Yet as the challenges to overcome are numerous and perils abound, thou must not speculate on becoming a Seyan’Du at this point.
Before thou mayest engage the Gatekeeper, thou must solve the Labyrinth built by Ishtar.
The Gatekeeper
Those who succeed in this test will be able to enhance their abilities further. They may either choose to learn more about their profession than any other mortal being, or to start again as one who can learn all arts.
The Gatekeeper
A Warrior or Mage who passes the test chooses the path of the Arch-Warrior or Arch-Mage, or starts again as a Seyan’Du. A Seyan’Du can only become an Arch-Seyan’Du. Each try costs 100 gold coins.
The Arch paths
The Arch paths exceed the specific skills of thy class beyond the powers of even a Seyan’Du. Each brings its own skill:
| Skill | Path | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Rage | Arch-Warrior | As thou fightest continuously, thy rage builds up to increase Attack and Parry. |
| Duration | Arch-Mage | Makes thy spells last longer. |
